Louis Cardinals live scores, schedule and results from all baseball tournaments that St. I have spent over 30 years of my life compiling this info, and I take great pride in its accuracy.St. I have about a half a terabyte of vector graphics and connections all over the sports graphics world that I network with. I've made it clear (or at least, I thought I was making it clear) that when I estimate a color, I put asterisks (*) in front of the color. Those 200 C teams I listed above may use different RGB/Hex values to define their colors, but also keep in mind that they are all matching their textiles, thread colors, etc. The point of my site is to provide an apples-to-apples comparison of colors. These other sites are mostly estimating colors, or just displaying these custom values. If provided, I store all textile, thread, twill, etc. I do store all of these "custom" RGB/Hex and CMYK values, along with the Pantone values. Pantone values are the "source of truth" when it comes to color matching. Yes, these teams often will provide different definitions of how they want to display PANTONE 200 C, but once you start tweaking the RGB, it no longer matches the source value. The RGB.Hex and CMYK values can vary from application to application because they are simulations of that color. When vendors and manufacturers match to their threads and textiles, they match to the Pantone color - NOT (in most cases anyway) the RGB/Hex or CMYK values. RGB/Hex and CMYK are just meant to be approximations of that color. This is a spot color, meaning it is defined by the formula ink mix which is in this case, 73.90% Rubine Red, 24.60% Yellow, and 1.5% Black. There are precise specs for reproducing that color: Yes the Phillies, Reds, Cardinals, Nationals, etc. In my mind, these colors are no longer accurate to Pantone specifications. It gets complicated, but the reason why you will see discrepancies is due to differences in the color profiles that designers use, the color space they are working in, or the designers will adjust the RGB or CMYK values for some reason. These values are provided by Pantone, and they represent the closest simulation for reproducing their colors on screen or in print. The best way to describe what I do is that I take the official Pantone colors and display the current RGB, Hex and CMYK values for that particular color value. I definitely trust colorwerx and use it exclusively for my logo sets. Although Colorwerx DOES have a couple variations of Nave such as OC2340 or 041E42. Reds and Navy colors seem to be the ones that are often different. I do trust it.it's pretty damn close on the ones that don't match, and many do match. I just offered it up as a source I trust. If you trust other sources more, okay, that's fine. ![]() Whoever is putting the team websites together probably isn't nearly as picky as a guy who devotes so much time and effort over so many years to his own website. I also wouldn't necessarily trust the official team websites over an independent person either. They're likely getting the fabric from the same company, or limited companies, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're not given the full gamut of colours as available options. ![]() ![]() Colorwerx is his old site and last I checked the new owners of it don't do what he does.Īnd yes, I do think they could all be using the same colour. ![]()
